Introduction
Briefly, I have worked in the IT industry for over 25 years, specializing in the design, development and implementation of various database applications in the aerospace, military, and physical distribution industries. My current passion is web design and websites driven by a kick ass database!
I graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Science from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, way back in 1981 (yes, they had computers back then, although much much larger than today!). I am currently completing a Web Design Certificate with the Art Institute Online, Pittsburgh, PA.
I love playing guitar, composing music, playing soccer, cycling, drawing, reading, travelling, fine dinning, good espressos and anything that ends in fest! Which reminds me, there's a hell of a good Jazz-fest here in Montreal during the first week of July.

I’ve been learning and working on an online catalog using PHP 5 and MySQL. Very interesting stuff! As with most things in life, you learn better by doing and referring to O’Reilly, as in, Learning PHP 5 by David Sklar, published by O’Reilly Media Inc. [+]
